Universal Health Coverage- A Case Study of Indian Healthcare System during COVID-19 Pandemic

Aim: The main purpose of this paper is to look at the Indian healthcare system during COVID-19 pandemic and how acts as barrier also presents some opportunities towards road Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
 Background: has exposed vulnerability health systems across world India no exception. World Organization (WHO) kept definition UHC very flexible left on country which implementing it much population services should be included in scheme. 
 Discussion: already a unique flagship program Ayushman Bharat where trying cover her most vulnerable against catastrophic expenditure health. This further investigates progress acting an impediment for it. On other hand, poses had not been explored past. Systems Strengthening path achievement due COVID-19, touched upon all six building blocks are needed strengthen our UHC.
 Recommendations Conclusion: It recommends that more proactive than reactive; suggests following systems-based approach target problem silos. increasing government funding well establishment proper public cadre. To conclude, include outpatient expenses into their scheme, they concentrate adequate infrastructure order face future pandemics like COVID-19.
